Teachers' Day Celebration
5th Septemebr 2014. The much awaited stupendous day, the Fifth day of September 2014 The Teachers' Day was celebrated with great pomp and show, with elated regard and reverence to the first renowned personality in the hierarchy of teachers, Dr. RadhaKrishnan. Students of BIA organised a cultural fiesta which was presided by the Chairman Mr. D. Muniraju, Treasurer Mr. Karthik, Academic Director Mrs. Salomi Rakesh Ratnam, Guest of Honour Mr. G. Varghese & Mini Sports General Manager Mr. Kishore. The blooming students of BIA enthralled the teachers with euphoric dance performances. The teachers were on their toes with sum sporting events and games.The day came to an end with a lavish lunch being organised for the teachers by the management.
Enthusiastic Performance in Maths Activity
Bangalore International Academy (CBSE) conducted Math activity finals recently. Topics were Addition Booklet, Exhibition of International currencies, Denominations, Virtual Trading, Mathematical Quiz, Data Handling. Each child presented their talent and creativity in their topics excellently.
In the final round students enthusiastically attended the activity by presenting analytical, logical, applicational effort on the mathematical concepts.
Social cause Effectively depicted
Bangalore International Academy (CBSE) conducted Social Science activity. Grade III to X students participated in the events like fancy dress representing National Leaders, face painting, Collage making, Impromptus speech on any social cause.
The theme reflected effectively in the face painting competition. Students showcased their best.
Showcasing Talent in English Activity
The English Department of Bangalore International Academy CBSE conducted the English Activity recently.
Various competitions like poem recitation, storytelling and elocution were conducted from classes I to X. All the students took part in the events, and delivered their pomes, stories and speeches with relevant proverbs, to the admiration of the judges, with good pronunciation, proper annotation and voice modulation.
It was a good platform to showcase their talents.
Educational Trip
An Educational Trip was arranged by the management of Bangalore International Academy, on Children’s Day, 14th Nov ,2014. Students from Classes I to VII were taken to Innovative Film City, Bangalore and the students from classes VIII to XII were taken to the ‘Metro Art Centre and Depot‘, Bangalore. They were briefed on the working and advantages of ‘Namma Metro ‘.It was truly an informative and enjoyable trip both at Innovative Film City and Metro Art Center.
Annual Day [Celestine 2014]
Bangalore International Academy-CBSE and Bangalore International High-ICSE celebrated its annual day on 20th December 2014. The chief guest for the event was Ms. Swetha. M, an international volleyball champion. The event was presided by Mr. D. Muniraju, Chairman BIGi.
The memorable annual day roared with multiple magnanimous performances. Bubbling kids captured the stage with heightened charisma.
Senior students rocked the floor with euphoric steps to frenzy tunes. At the end of the day BIA and BIH enthralled the audience with their breath taking performances.
Valedictory function and Prize Day Grade X & XII
The valedictory function and prize day for the year 2014 – 2015 was conducted by the Bangalore International Academy, CBSE wing on the 31st January 2015. The outgoing students of class X and XII lit lamps and pledged to be loyal to the school, which was followed by the distribution of mementos by the Chief Guest Dr. K. P. Puthuraya, Founder Chairman Shri D. Muniraju and the Academic Director and Principal Mrs. Salomi Rakesh Rathnam. The cultural programmes were spectacular and breath taking. The Chief Guest Dr. K. P. Puthuraya, an eminent philosopher, writer and speaker proposed the Valedictory Address which was very thought provoking.
Prize Day
Bangalore International Academy CBSE celebrated its Annual Prize Day 2014-15 on the 21 st of February 2014-15.The function was chaired by the Founder Chairman Shri. D. Muniraju. Mrs. Salomi Rakesh Ratnam the Academic Director and Principal delivered an enlightening speech. Prizes and certificates in various categories were distributed to the students for academic and co-curricular activities conducted in the school. Students received them amidst roars of applause and encouragement from their parents. The function came to a close with cultural programmes which enthralled the audience.
